What Is PermaNursery?

Permaculture
Meets the Real World

PermaNursery is a Middle Tennessee-based regenerative agriculture project focused on building living soil, growing food that nourishes, and teaching families how to achieve real food independence.

We're not about weekend gardening tips — we're about building systems. Food forests, composting, companion planting, water harvesting — the same principles Jason applies to business, applied to the land.

  • Rooted in permaculture ethics: People Care, Earth Care, Fair Share
  • Native and edible plants available for Middle Tennessee
  • Consultations for homesteaders and small-scale farms
  • Building food security one family at a time
The Foundation

Three Permaculture Ethics

Everything we grow, teach, and build is grounded in these three principles.

01

Earth Care

The land is alive. Healthy soil builds healthy food builds healthy people. We farm with the land, not against it — building organic matter, encouraging biodiversity, and working with nature's rhythms.

02

People Care

Real food security starts at home. PermaNursery is about empowering families to grow their own food, reduce dependence on industrial supply chains, and build the skills to feed themselves and their communities.

03

Fair Share

Abundance is meant to be shared. Whether it's extra harvest, knowledge, or seedlings — what we have more than we need flows back into the community. That's the Thrive way.

What We Offer

How PermaNursery
Serves You

🌿

Native & Edible Plants

Middle Tennessee-grown seedlings, perennial vegetables, fruiting shrubs, and native pollinator plants. Adapted to local climate, grown without synthetic chemicals.

🏡

Homestead Consultations

On-site permaculture design consultations for homesteaders, hobby farmers, and families transitioning to food independence. We walk your land, assess your resources, and build a plan.

🌲

Food Forest Design

Transform unused land into a multi-layered food-producing ecosystem. Jason designs and helps implement food forests tailored to your land, climate, and family food goals.

📚

Education & Community

Workshops, Hive community content, and educational resources for families new to permaculture. The knowledge to grow food should be freely available — we make it accessible.
